Eric,

I agree! I just took a lot of photos with it today, but didn't notice that there was 8 oil spots on my D3's sensor and I didn't bring any sensor cleaner with me! Thanks for spot removal on Lightroom & Photoshop...

I agree with the above made assessment. Yet, I have read some individuals commenting about this lens not featuring autofocus. As long as it is not “action” photography, why would anybody want autofocus? Personally, I rather be in control of what part in my picture should be in focus. This of course applies more so for portrait and macro photography, where autofocus is next to useless. Perhaps the engineers/designers of this excellent glass felt that the cost of auto focus is better spent on better optics and a more robust design. Speaking of which, I agree, the lens cap is a pain.

I feel privileged to own this lens. It is one of the finest lenses I have ever owned.

thank you, thank you, thank you!! I had a recipe (with baking powder, lard plus all your ingredients except the egg) and it would not puff up when you cooked it, though the flavor was right. I always throught the baking powder and lard were the problem but until now couldn't find another recipe that wasn't just flat bread.

This truly is the best recipe ever! :D
