1/4 c. lukewarm water

1 pkg. yeast

1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk

1 egg

1/3 c. honey or sugar

1 tsp. salt

5 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in water, add milk, mix in egg, honey or sugar, salt, and flour. Knead. Let rise until double – 1/2 hour. Punch down and place in refrigerator until ready to use. When ready to use – roll dough out very thin – cut into triangle shapes and deep fat fry. Be sure to immerse dough into oil – this makes it puff up. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.

OR top with ice cream, chocolate sauce, etc.
